David has appointed board and senior executives across businesses of every size, shape and industry over his career in talent acquisition.  More recently, he has focused on global board and senior executive appointments across all functions within industries possessing a strong science/engineering component to operations (e.g. Life sciences, Technology, Energy & Mining, Chemicals, Property & Construction, Infrastructure etc.). He has also acted for the advisory businesses that support these sectors such as accountancy, corporate finance and consultancy.

 

David holds a BSc (Hons) in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Manchester and a GlaxoSmithKline-funded PhD from the University of Durham. Subsequently, he was founder/Director of a University of Durham spin-out company (Contract Research Organisation), before entering the world of executive search in 2007. He is also a founder/investor/director of a digital medical device (mental health) company www.orpheusmindtechnologies.com.
